Further research indicates the following additional GCFX units were on GEXR:

GCFX 6041 on CN Q14291-18 Feb 19 2003
GCFX 6071 on M39031-19 Feb 20
GCFX 6057 on Q14891-19 also on Feb 20.

So.. we’re almost coming full circle here.

The last GCFX (Alstom) unit that GEXR borrowed was GCFX 6048 on November 13 2003.

Along with IC 6140 (in CN paint) returning to the usual GEXR 4 axle power the next day…

February 15 2003 after the Gobles derailment, about 20 CN and 2 NS freights re-routed over GEXR and CN 383 had GCFX 6071 trailing as third unit.

February 19 2003 – after the Bayview derailment, Detours happened again, CN train 271 @ Kitchener met 434 and another CN Eastbound @ Kitchener in the siding with GCFX 6043, BNSF 2636 (Santa Fe paint, blue), and BNSF 2537 (Orange). This unit became QGRY 6913 so.. very close…
