Comments on: Rather obvious it has been a healthy summer so far as the lush foliage has really taken over at the Jct. It is still early July as a CN transfer heads into Hamilton behind CN 1320 and 1315, with 48 cars of all sorts of traffic in tow. Note the trailers; something we do not see any more……..I recorded the caboose as CN 79768. Both motors (SW1200RS) went off roster in 1993.

Stuart: I really can't remember after all this time, but I probably had been out late the night before and was feeling rather low that morning.

Those li'l buggers could pull just about anything.
I used to have 5 of them lashed up when I operated 403 from Oshawa to Aldershot and back. The spark arrestors didn't do much as those units put on quite the light show in run 8!
