<title>Comments on: RCC6 (Remote Control Car) ex BN/GN from an EMD &#8220;B&#8221; unit. BC Rail purchased several of these cars from CPR and BN in the early 1970&#8242;s and eventually had 10 in service. The RCC cars were the receiving unit for the radio signals from the leading control unit and the RCC was MU&#8217;d to the remote control mid-train units. The technology was quite primitive by today standards and the RCC&#8217;s were not reliable. They were eventually replaced by the MLW M420B, RCL units that BC Rail bought equipped with upgraded electronics and air brake manifold.</title>
