<title>Comments on: Remanufactured GP38-2 GMTX 2254 in fresh paint is paired with CN 4784, a GP38-2W. They are paused in between switching moves in Aldershot Yard, near Waterdown Road bridge. Behind them is the roadway providing access to Aldershot GO/VIA Station, its north parking lot, and Hwy 403 east.
A web search indicated that GMTX 2254 was originally an EMD GP38AC built 11/1971 as blue GTW 5810, transferred to Central Vermont as CV 5810, then left the CN family. Said to have become LLPX 2217 (painted in UP colours).</title>
