If I wanted to take photographs in the yard I signed my life away first, & then proceeded to wander around. Normally CP employees will notice a stranger quite quickly & question them. I wore a white hard hat that said “Canada” on the front of it so I got noticed real quick. Are you from “Transport Canada” they would ask and I would smile and say no. That answer got the employees to relax and forget I was there. For safety reasons hard hats are necessary, but they are also great for keeping your head dry. All ways something good to see in Revelstoke in the 1980′s but I guess you have to go to the newer CP yard in Golden BC now.
