<title>Comments on: Riding the last official train east from Bishops Falls to St Johns was probably the most emotional trip I have ever ridden. Careers were coming to an end, a cross province link was being broken and a way of life was terminating. While 944E made its way east in pouring rain, Engineman M Greening suggested we should at least get a video run-by and photo at a curve he thought would be perfect. A couple of miles ahead, he stopped, let me off, backed up and came forward for the &#8220;runpast&#8221;. So typical of Newfie friendliness. I made many new friends those last few days and even re-visited some years later.</title>
