Comments on: RLHH 598 made a rare Monday appearance on the Burford Spur with an even rarer three-unit lash-up. They went down to Ingenia with 10 cars and returned with 3. The return trip was right at the beginning of rush hour, and I was probably the only driver on Clarence Street that didn’t mind the delay. It was miraculous that I managed to get a gap in traffic big enough to get a car-free photo. QGRY 2500 probably returned to Hamilton light, whereas RLHH 2111 and 3049 were most likely left in Brantford for RLHH 595 to take to Nanticoke tonight.

Brad, I can't say I recall an Arnold shot of a 6 axle down here. James shot RLHH 3404 a couple years back, as did Rob: http://www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=18805

Thanks Jason. Aaron, to be honest I didn't notice if the railway crossing signals were working but I can tell you that they are synchronised with the traffic signals. IF one ain't workin' the other one ain't workin'!

That's odd as well that the signal was like that. Just to clarify were the railway crossing lights on dalhousie st malfunctioning as well? Did the bell start dinging and did the alternating lights flash upon the approach of the train or was it just the traffic signal? Last time i was there they had to flag the crossing because they did not activate at all

Well they're you go... who would have thought the middle unit would return to Hamilton!? Thanks for the update Glenn. Aaron, the traffic signal is not working correctly. You'll notice Clarence Street traffic had a red and Dalhousie Street had green; that was my only saving grace to get a car-free photo! Someone should call the Traffic Dept...
