<title>Comments on: RS-23 CP 8035 has been switching the yard, it is photographed here moving towards the Trois-Rivieres roundhouse with a brakeman riding the front footboard. The short building on the right was the yard office.
I&#8217;d like to find an historic aerial view of T-R to see how round was that roundhouse; it had an outside turntable and radial tracks and dated from steam engine days.
While the CP station (my vantage point) has been preserved, everything visible on the far side of the tracks has gone. The background you&#8217;d see nowadays would be Quebec Autoroute 40 atop a high retaining wall. The yard is still active, part of the Quebec-Gatineau Railway.</title>
