Comments on: Running along Anderson Lake on our northward journey on the former BC Rail the train is sneaking along the “dry slide”, the terrain is rugged straight up and straight down. I could hear the “ohs and ahs” of the passengers enjoying this spectacular scenery. The locomotive is at mile 126 and this area has a 15 mph speed restriction “until track is seen to be clear”. Most crews approached this area at about 10 mph. The curve behind the dome car is a tight 13 degree.

Yes, always brought the camera along and I actually got paid to do this. Sometimes I wondered if it was “danger pay” or “holiday pay”.
