<title>Comments on: Saturday December 18th 1982. sitting in the lunch room in the Quebec street round house relaxing thinking the shift was over. At 6;45 the shop foreman called. The yard master wants an extra yard sap, can you service the 5559 and let me know when your finished. Seen here reversing around the back lead SD40 5559 passes two new ONR GP38-2,s delivered from GMD during the evening before. Two small things of note , The ditch lights on the ONR 1805 are still covered and painted blue. And the old stripping from the gray and maroon days is showing threw on the rear buffer plate of 5559 . The cover over the air intake on 5559 behind the cab was to stop snow from entering and plugging up the baggie filters. This was applied to CP SD40 and dash 2 models.</title>
