Northlander power unit #1985 is the former ONR FP7A #1518 and was scrapped in year 2000. ONR trains 121 & 122 (the Northlander) operated daily except Saturday and train 123 operated Friday and Sunday only hence train 120 is effectively a move to enable Sunday ONR train 123 to operate with ONR equipment. That being said, with passenger service to the North discontinued September 2012, note that a Provincial election is looming within the next year (2014 / early 2015 at the latest) and please do make the effort to communicate – by whatever means – to all candidates’ in YOUR riding your opinion(s) regarding ONR passenger train service !
