Admittedly nothing special at all about this shot save for the fact that CN sent today’s 451 on its way from Mac Yard up to North Bay with only a GP38-2 and a GP9 with 65 cars in tow. The train consisted of mostly center-beams, box cars, coil gons and chemical tanks. The center-beams were obviously empty as I assume were the coil gons and box cars (saw at least one with the doors open). Can’t guess as to the tanks but regardless it’s no surprise they elected to keep 4132 in consist instead of dropping it off in Huntsville like they would normally do. Crew gave their rest notice @ 11:09 while they were passing Mile 125 and it was reported passing Mile 154 @ 12:20, so I’m kind of wondering if they got a fresh crew at Huntsville (Mile 146) or were trying to push it further north. http://www.railpictures.ca The BEST Canadian photos on the Internet, eh?
