	<title>Comments on: SD38-2 382 was one of two built in 1972 for BC Hydro by EMD in the U.S. (BC Hydro also received an SD38AC in 1971 and another SD38-2 in 1974&#8211;the latter is still in service on the Southern Railway of British Columbia.) On a pleasant day in the summer of 1984, we see both of the 1972 SDs leading a train past the Sperling siding in Langley&#8211;four years before BC Hydro&#8217;s rail operations were sold to Itel (and later the Washington Group).</title>
