Comments on: Since we are on the topic of SW1200′s. A London built pup sleeps on track one after the shop staff finished working the bugs out of the old girl, the unit in the foreground? OSR 506, a Montreal built light weight RS23 intended for branchline service out west on the CPR has gotten “new” trucks and is now being pieced back together before being readied for service.

CNCNDR - I'm recalling that 506 always did sit just a little higher than a normal (heavyweight) Rocket but anyway, thanks.
Jacob - Falconbridge RS23 109 was purchased a few years by OSR ( formerly Devco Rly 201). It had been abandoned and left to die when OSR found out about it and it was brought to Salford where it was determined that it may not ever run but a lot of parts could taken from it.
