Comments on: So I did have an action photo of this pair… I found this pair in St. Thomas two days later as I scoped out St. Thomas en-route to Sarnia (I was hoping for something different i’m sure). To have an action photo and a terminal photo of this pair really aren’t all that bad. I imagine both of these are off the UP roster now. Ingersoll was my go-to railfan spot, despite being 45 minutes away.. I loved the action there. Not many towns where trains go through full speed (and NS freights did 70 MPH). Further, the horn show for westbounds.. oh boy.. and guess what? This pair bounced around for a while, and a friend David Graham caught it, here’s his video a few days earlier: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tItgHi9cVe8 Now you hear and see why I went to Ingersoll. :)

No kidding. And the condition of the Ingersoll station even then was deplorable. It's only 10x worse now, and suprisingly still standing.

Thank you. Since this unit was built in 2001 you'd think it has quite a bit of life left in it..

I don't believe any UP SD70M's have been retired, other than wrecked units, so UP 4614 is very likely still on the roster. It could possibly be stored however.
