Comments on: Something about Dundas back in the days of the station kept my crank turning. Here is a pair of wide cabs and a ballast train west. Nice old station. Canada Crushed Stone structure in the background below Dundas Peak. Add some nice soft spring green under a blanket of sunshine and it adds up to a beautiful day to be out. Pity it all is no more. Amazing how massive the CN widecab fleet once was. CN 9441 went to Alstom in 2001, and 9574 is still slaving away on the CN roster. The GP40-2(W) fleet has whittled down from 278 to just 59.

Thanks for the kind comment, Paul. Best I can say is that between trains I did a lot of wandering around. And surprised myself with some new angles. This angle was not unknown, but it was different and as a result, a bit more interesting.

They were the Pride of the Fleet. Always great to have 5 of them together just howling away when I was running the ore train
