<title>Comments on: Sometimes it&#8217;s better to be lucky than good. Witness the leader on CP 235, at Woodstock, ON, on a sunny but very windy autumn day. Almost two years since I&#8217;ve seen anything but GE&#8217;s on this train, a chance encounter with SD30C-ECO #5043 in the lead was a nice surprise. Here the train is waiting for the conductor to finish his (very long) walk back to the head end after making a mid-train lift out of Coakley siding. These days, 235 is a westbound &#8220;land-barge&#8221; with its&#8217; usual Montreal-Detroit intermodal cars, but also (in this case, as usual) head-end traffic for London, autoracks lifted at Coakley, the stack cars, and a long cut of autoracks lifted from Wolverton. Quite often the train is well over 10,000 feet out of Woodstock. NOTE: Photo taken from grade crossing; the train had shoved far enough to exit the crossing timing circuit and was stationary at time of photo.</title>
