Comments on: Southbound CN train seen passing the old Foleyet VIA waiting kiosk, as it slows in for a stop. Lead unit is Connell Finance Co’s GEC Alstom locomotive #6044, which is on lease to CN. This unit was a former CN SD40 #5143, which was then sold, went for a rebuild in 1997 and emerged as an SD40-3. Trailing unit is IC 6255. The running number is likely CN 433-14. These types of track maintenance machines were once a common workhorse on the Ruel and Caramat Subdivisions in the 1980's and 90's.
