Comments on: Southbound ONR 1735 and 1731 make for a nice image snaking along just before the rock cut near Boston Creek. This is a nice location for shooting; but beware of bug season. It can be brutal.

I was unaware this angle was now overgrown. It seems to be part of a general trend involving all of our favourite shooting locations of the past. Appreciate the info !!

Great shot, Arnold. Nowadays this view has become quite overgrown; someone needs to clear some vegetation and open this location up again.

That would be the Adams iron ore mine. According to the ol’ internet it was operated by the Jones & Laughlin Steel Company from 1964 to 1971 and then sold to Dofasco who operated it from 1971 to 1990. Great image, by the way.
