<title>Comments on: Sporting well worn maroon and grey script paint 5 years into the &#8220;action red&#8221; era, CP FA2 4088 sits at the Quebec Street shop in London ON awaiting its next assignment in October 1972.

Part of one of CP&#8217;s few early orders for mainline diesels in the early 1950&#8242;s, 4088 would recieve a new coat of paint next year, but would only last a few more years in service before being stored at St. Luc with much of the CP FA/FB fleet in 1975, and officially retired in 1977.</title>
