Comments on: Stuart Street Shops: Beginning of the End. RLK 1756, a GP7u sits in front of the shops, boarded up and having turned her last wheel. RLK 1757, a GP10 (or GP9u, if you prefer)sits with GP18, RLK 1808 awaiting for servicing or return to service on the property. In the coming years, then owner RailAmerica will divulge themselves of this older RLK power scrapping numerous units, including the boarded up 1756 and I believe 1757. The 1808 ended up going to Cando’s Barrie-Collingwood operation in Utopia, Ontario.

SOR no longer uses the shop - as of April 9 2014, the last engine (4057) was removed from the shop area and the SOR signs were taken down. The building should be coming down in the very near future (weeks I figure)
