<title>Comments on: Summer&#8217;s officially over as of tonight, and in the last rays of a late Summer sun, SOR 495, aka 1900 HAM yard switcher is at the far end of the &#8220;hole&#8221; &#8211; Parkdale Ave in Hamilton switching A&amp;M metals. The Conductor (and RPCA member angelok) is walking up to the train after coupling cars to perform switching in the yard behind me. This is a place I have been to numerous times since 1998, first as an employee of a local metals recycler (summer job) later, as a railway and Hamilton enthusiast, these gritty dusty areas are what I like the most and where I spend a lot of my photography time. I&#8217;m a Hamilton fan, and the North End is where it&#8217;s at.
Note the recent right of way work &#8211; A&amp;M is expanding rapidly and it would appear a new spur is to be placed in the graded area at right &#8211; A&amp;M is up to about 10 to 20 cars a day and now sports a red Trackmobile.</title>
