<title>Comments on: Sunrise on the Kashabowie.
Regional forest fires cover the north in a smoky haze as Thunder Bay bound grain train blasts its 14L for the Highway 11 crossing just west of the small hamlet of Shebandowan.
Of note: This was the first DPU&#8217;d train CN ran on the Kashabowie. I can&#8217;t recall the number of cars but I believe it was in the neighbourhood of 150-160 cars. An absolute monster! And this practice today has become common on bulk trains into the Lakehead, some pushing this threshold in the 200+ car total. Power CN ES44DC 2236- CN SD50F 5459 with CN ES44DC 2267 pushing on the rear</title>
