	<title>Comments on: Switching isolated trackage with an F40? Yep, that&#8217;s what the MMA did. SLC 270 (ex-AMT F40, before that NJT and originally Amtrak) was being used by the Montreal, Maine &amp; Atlantic as a switcher on an isolated stretch of track that did not connect to MMA&#8217;s network in the spring of 2014. Here it is parked on a rough piece of track near CN&#8217;s Drummondville Sub.</title>

		<description>MMA used to serve a feed mill in Ste-Rosalie via the St-Guillaume sub, an ex-CP branch from Farnham. By this point in 2014 the line from Farnham was out of service because it was in such bad sahep, so the MMA stationed a locomotive there permanently. The CMQ does the same thing even at present.

A number of Quebec photographers covered this line much better than I did.
