Comments on: Take a stored SD40-2 put it back in service, bring it in for some fine tuning and it’s good to go. Ex SOO Line and CP 6607 in for a replacement traction motor and back out to pull cars.

I find it quite amazing that the diesel/alternator combo can keep 6 big motors happily supplied with power. When you see them sitting on the floor they are truly massive.

A quick note, observed 4 SD’s passing through Agincourt today with 5876 5922 (multimark) 5756 (block lettering) & 5936 (faded dual flags) to be put into service at DES in Sudbury.
