Comments on: Thanks to a H/U via Earl Minnis from Mike Harding late the night before that 244 was leaving Elkhart with the NS 1071 leading. This gave me some motivation to watch what was going on this morning. After tracing as in Windsor @ 0800 I figured I’d have a chance. Eventually, with numerous people giving status updates, 244, with new CP leader #3033 (hot plate equipped!) got rolling and I was able to snag a shot of the train just east of Belle River. Nice colorful consist on a bit of a drab day but the sun peaked out just long enough to shed a little light on the subject.
