	<title>Comments on: The 1980’s and 90’s would find both EMD and GE pushing forward with more four axle high horsepower units but unfortunately that is basically where it all ended, at least for freight railroads. While a few railroads invested a lot with high horsepower four axle units, the majority favoured six axle power for mainline freights. By the 2000’s most high horsepower four axle units were being either retired, sold off or downgraded. The unique GP40X was no exception with most sold off to shortlines or leasing companies. During the 2000’s CP turned to Helm leasing for second hand power to fill a void it had and in return the railroad pick up a number of secondhand GP40 and GP38’s. A few of the units the railroad picked up were former GP40X units rebuilt into GP38’s. CP 4522 was one of these units and is seen with CP GP38 3063 heading down the remains of the old Owen Sound subdivision preparing to work the bulk transfer facility in Streetsville yard.</title>
