Comments on: The 9171 has just entered the south end of the connecting track and will head north to the Lac La Biche Sub and on wards to Waterways. For a train geek, having the connecting track installed was a great asset if you lived in Redwater. It pretty much doubled the number of trains per week through town and made consists like this easy prey for the camera. It will be an interesting task to check through earlier photos, books, Internet, etc, to see what can be found. I like its F3 grill work. Also, the 2 black unit ends, most had the end painted red.
