Comments on: The CN Bridgewater NS station is pictured in July 1971. It was built for the Halifax & Southwestern around 1901, and CN eventually took over the line. Unfortunately, it was destroyed by fire in 1982. On the track to the right of the scene are some CN hopper cars with extended sides (often found in woodchip service).
