Comments on: The “CP Rail System” returned for Canada Day of 2024!

CPKC 2-H92 (although it was reported with various other symbols) hauls through Thamesford just after 11 AM with the “rescue” unit for 135 a few days prior – ‘Dual Flag’ SD40-2 #5743. I and many others thought for sure that this unit would have been wyed in Windsor or Detroit for the return trip east – but somehow, it emerged out of Walkerville Junction just after 6 AM in the lead position of (at the time) 134. This was a good day to not sleep in. This was one of two mainline SD40-2 leaders in the year for London and the surrounding area. It was great getting to see everyone out and about for this one.
