Comments on: The CP yards in Princeton were located just south of BC highway #3. I was on my way back to Vancouver when I saw the cars from the CP work train, so I pulled over to see if I could get a few pictures. I took a bit of time & walked around the station area. The station was a wood frame structure built from a simple design. The exterior of the building was covered with what I called “insul brick” a material that gave some addition insulation to the building. There was one CP truck parked near the station, but there was no activity taking place. A few years later all was gone. Princeton is a neat little BC interior town. It is like an oasis in a desert of trees. A great place to stop, buy fuel, & eat.

Arnold More than once during the 1970′s(while at the military engineering school in Chilliwack) I would take a short weekend drive to Princeton for something to do. Just like you I never saw it till 1981.

There must be a good reason why I missed this structure on my way thru the area in 1976. But I don’t recall what it was. Too bad. This is a great shot and a nice old building.. ….thanks, James.
