Comments on: The daily Chambord to Toronto manifest is pulling into Toronto with a ES44AC leading Bessemer & Lake Erie EMD SD40-3T 910, and another 44AC helping out mid-train. The BLE 910, was purchased by Canadian National and was online and working on this train, as it ducked under the Hilda Avenue road bridge on its way to Toronto’s MacMillan Yard.

So what you're saying Joseph is, that CN swapped them out? Think we could be seeing BLE engines more commonly now?

CN purchased the BLE in 2004. The majority of the units stayed on the Bessemer until this past year when CN moved IC SD70's to the Bessemer and the BLE units were sent out to roam the system.

A few have received fresh CN paint (902 and 900) while the others are floating around on the CN system.

I have seen 3 different BLE units on the Dundas Sub in the past 6 months.
