Comments on: The days are getting longer, and brighter, as we are into mid-March with this shot of the daily Conrail transfer coming over from the US. It will drop its train and go back over the border with US traffic. Units are CR 8169, 9563 and 1972. Transfers helped make this a busy and most interesting place for the fans. Pity it is all but a memory now.

And somewhere back in that time BCOL units were going to Frontier for distribution elsewhere. I was sitting right by the road writing my notes and a cop come up to my window with his hand on his gun holster asking me what I was doing. Trespassing was taken rather seriously even back then. Snarly devil.
