Comments on: The days assignment for SD40U #6024 is to work a ballast train on the north track of the busy Kingston subdivision. The days of seeing a caboose out on the mainline are pretty much history, so catching one operating as a rider car is as good as it gets these days. The crew of the train is seen making the most of a work window, and are slowly walking along the train dumping ballast where needed. Close to two years after the bridge was demolished, they stopped dimensional train there to check for clearance... hogger was a little annoyed, told the RTC that the bridge has been gone for sometime now and they need to update their profiles.
