Comments on: The east side of bridge 6 by the Welland Canal is a seldom utilized location for photos because of its’ rather awkward accessibility. But in years past, there was a gravel road open to the public and I took advantage of it. In this view, the daily local with CN 4590 and 4595, complete with transfer van, works along the line. I assume this is based at Niagara Falls yard, with power maintained at Fort Erie.

Great shot Arnold. I wish this shot was accessible without Seaway having a fit over it.

I have been across this bridge, more times than I can count. It always sucked when the RTC used to call me up and said "the "Seaway" has the bridge and it will be 45 min before I get the bridge back, so find a spot and don't block any crossings" Really RTC and just where can i find a spot for 11,000 plus feet of train without blocking crossings.. Sigh!! I miss those days :-( FYI just to left where the water tower is was the GM St. Catherine's plant.
