  Appropriately named Union Station the building completed 1911 was a joint venture by the Canadian Northern Railway, National Transcontinental Railway and the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway.  


 A VIA #1 early morning arriving allowed this quick pic of a CN westbound powered by CN8814 a EMCC 2007 built SD70M-2 and an IC (long term lease) GE 1994 built Dash 8-40CW.
