<title>Comments on: The eastbound &#8220;Canadian&#8221; is at the east end of Partridge siding, above both Spiral Tunnels in Kicking Horse Pass.
I had some difficulty identifying the exact photo location, because i could not figure out where I was on Google Maps. It was easy to find the east switch, but the track seemed to have a strange configuration. Well, after some more Googling, I learned that Partridge was extended eastward a few thousand feet sometime since this photo was taken.
This train is sporting what I would assume was the regular power contingent &#8211; a new F-40PH and an old FPB-9. Subsequent passenger trains that we would see over the next day or two would have a CP unit tacked on.</title>
