Comments on: The empty windmill train lead by SD60, CP 6229 (former SOO 6029, with Citirail CREX 1350 heads eastward up to mile 37 and Canyon Road on the Galt sub. Interestingly enough I had to call the CP Police for the second last car of the trains brakes being stuck and smoking up a storm. The train was stopped in Milton for repairs. Rail fans do come in handy once in a while.

Railfanners are great eyes for the railroad; the general public would definitely not notice something like that and call it in. They have to pay attention to the train first, which they wouldn’t be doing

That train went by my place a couple hours ago (Neilsons). I think they swapped out the lead unit as it had a GE on the head end. Good job on calling about the sticky brake. We railroaders appreciate the assistance by railfans.

I saw one of those CitiRail units coming into south Edmonton on a CP train earlier this week. Needed a camera. Nice work with the call in Bill.
