Comments on: The exterior of CN 50948 is as dated and beat up as the cab interior shot I previously submitted. It has been quite some time since the wheels have rolled and the plow blades have touch the ballast for this spreader.

CN usually has one stored at Mac Yrd for bad winters.

They actually don’t use 50948 to spred ballast these days. 50958 is kept in reserve in the yard for winter operations and to spread snow.
