<title>Comments on: The face of the deceased. Built as RS18, CP 8746 in 1958, rebuilt in 1980 having it&#8217;s nose chopped along with other upgrades is was reclassified as a RS18u and renumbered 1802, only to be converted to a &#8220;Control Cab&#8221; fifteen years later in December 1995. By 2002 it had been retired by CP, sold to OSR and moved to Guelph Junction. Today, as it has for close to a decade, the rusted and beaten, salvaged shell of an engine sits feet away from the rails where sister RS18u&#8217;s ply the rails from parts she has given, so the vintage fleet of First Generation Diesel engines still live into the 21st century.</title>
