By 2002 it had been retired by CP, sold to OSR and moved to Guelph Junction. Today, as it has for close to a decade, the rusted and beaten, salvaged shell of an engine sits feet away from the rails where sister RS18u’s ply the rails from parts she has given, so the vintage fleet of First Generation Diesel engines still live into the 21st century.
