Comments on: The former CN Fergus sub between Guelph and Galt has a few spots of notable scenery, otherwise, it’s largely grown in and inaccessible if only by drone in parts (See Ryan’s great effort at Glenchristie but this spot is fairly open, on a private driveway serving two homes. I certainly enjoyed when the flared radiator 3806 was assigned to this job and of course preferred it leading to it’s slug 806.

Right about where the Gourock flag stop was located, opened 1881. Founded circa 1857 it had a post office and general store but little else. Two GTR trains wrecked head on going through the curve here in September 1906. Post Office closed in 1913, flag stop gone by 1920, and the “town” gone soon after.
