Comments on: The fuel train was on the way home from the air base at Cold Lake, making a quick stop at 14:00 in Redwater. The loads will be gathered and in just a few minutes couple back onto the train and then off to Gibbons to do the same there. After that, it will be yard the train in Edmonton and put the units on the shop track. Reading my notes, this was a busy day in Redwater, 4 different trains in 1 day.

Thanks Steve. I never thought of this when I first moved to Redwater. Having a curve in the track at the elevators was a huge bonus. The they were so easy to stagger, rather than all in a row.

I agree, to add to your comment, I also miss the multi coloured hoppers the units pulled across this nation. Thanks Todd.
The red ones with Canada and the green Saskatchewan hoppers, top of my fav list.
