<title>Comments on: The GEXR expanded from its original startup in 1992 for the first time on November 16, 1998 with the acquisition of the CN Guelph Subdivision. The line brought in 6 units from other RaiLink roads for the takeover. The usual power problems resulted in GEXR leasing for brief periods units from the CN as well, thirty days at a time, I&#8217;m told. February 1999 was the only month the three in this image were together. And this was one of the rare times I was able to successfully snag a shot of a train rolling over the Grand River bridge. A lot of chopping, sawing and weeding preceded this event. Nowadays this area is all housing&#8230;&#8230;.CN 9661, 9633 and 9643 power eastward toward Mac Yd from Stratford; I was a bit peeved there was no genuine GEXR loco in the consist, but one takes what one is offered. It looks to be a regular pre-GEXR train of the CN, but it isn&#8217;t. It IS part of history though.</title>
