	<title>Comments on: The Goderich-Exeter Railway is just 3 months into being back when this image was shot in summer 1992. They started up with four GP9s, all initially Cartier units, built 1960, and they were numbered by GEXR 177-180.
Here we see two of them, GEXR 180 and 179 with a salt train crossing Black Point Road, having just left Goderich en route to Stratford, where they interchanged with CN. 
The variety of power seen over the years on the GEXR has been nothing short of amazing.</title>

As for 901, it was 2002 when it was placed un-serviceable on the spur to the elevators just outside Mitchell, which is now FS Partners. We stumbled across it when it was there as well on a sweltering day. As you say, I don&#039;t believe it ever ran again as well.</description>
