Comments on: The late Del Rosamond didn’t live far from where this picture was taken. Perhaps he heard the distinctive Northern’s whistle and decided to drive over and check out the action. Circa 1959. Sadly, Del’s original slide is not in good shape. The colour wasn’t initially processed correctly and there is significant age related decay. The great thing about Mr. Rosamond was his ability to get the people , going about their duties, into the shot.
