Twenty seven years earlier, in Aug 1950; the TH&amp;B 71 was the very first locomotive ever constructed at the GMD plant in London, Ont. And two and a half years after this picture was taken, the GP7 would meet its demise in a violent truck-train collision in Pelham.</title>
