Unable to enter New York, here we see VIA 97′s equipment in the process of wying at Clifton, operating on the freight-only Stamford Sub in the process. It will then back into the station to await departure as VIA 98 in the evening. I’m surprised they didn’t just bustitute. A few years ago this move was a daily occurance for VIA 95 (to become the next days number 90 (or 92 on Sunday)), but now the usually through Amtrak connections are the only VIA service.
