<title>Comments on: The Maple Leaf stays in Canada this day. Due to &#8220;Snowmageddon&#8221; having dumped 6+ feet of snow on the Buffalo, NY area over the past 2 days, rail service (and everything else) has ground to a near halt. Amtrak has suspended all service between Albany, Cleveland, and Toronto. Unable to enter New York, here we see VIA 97&#8242;s equipment in the process of wying at Clifton, operating on the freight-only Stamford Sub in the process. It will then back into the station to await departure as VIA 98 in the evening. I&#8217;m surprised they didn&#8217;t just bustitute. A few years ago this move was a daily occurance for VIA 95 (to become the next days number 90 (or 92 on Sunday)), but now the usually through Amtrak connections are the only VIA service.</title>
