On the morning of April 4, 2023, VIA Rail Canada Train 33 (Quebec City, QC-Ottawa, ON) was assigned a Siemens Venture train set, seen being led by Cab Car SIIX 2301 (consist: coaches 2901, 2801, 2701, 2601 and locomotive SCV-42 2202) as it departs Gare Central in Montreal, Quebec. VIA has ordered 32 of these train sets to equip its inter-city fleet.
