Thank you for your comments guys. I’m not quite sure what happened too the attention to detail and quality control in the sign shop? It is always nice to know a photo brings out past memories. Maybe the old sign got discarded trackside?

Great photo Terry, keep those Oakville pics coming! I have such fond memories of that crossing at Chartwell Rd as a teenager! During school lunch break I would head over there, and in the summer evenings always made my way there to see the CP Starlight and the Ford Turn. I still have a CN and CP employee timetable a friendly engineer gave me from 86. Great times….
I would love to have the old Oakville Yard sign in my collection!
