   CC&amp;F and Pullman-Standard built rolling stock dominated the VIA fleet for the first dozen years, here:


   NSC 1955 ish built 96xx series baggage


   four CC&amp;F 1954 ish built coaches: two 55xx series coaches, one cafe coach 32xx, one Dayniter 57xx series


   three Pullman-Standard 1954 built E series ( #11xx ) sleepers, one in crew service, 


   13xx series P-S 1947 ish built dining car


    23xx series CC&amp;F 1920 ish built Lounge car 


  and a lone ex CPR Budd 1955 built Manor ( 83xx) series sleeper.


  Oh, the head end: two 26 year old GMD&#8217;s: FP9A #6507 and  F9B #6605

The &quot;Manor&quot; car will be moved to the &quot;Canadian&quot; there.  I rode this train a lot back then between my home in Edmonton and my parent&#039;s home in the Vancouver area.</description>
